Our “Officiers” garden is homed by some unique trees such as the old Japanese Nut tree and a Eastern Plantain from over three centuries of age. Thankful hospital student’s from Japan gave at there departure these exotic tree’s. In collaboration with specialists we guarantee a optimal attendance and with that the conservation of these monumental tree’s. Do you wish to retake your breath and enjoy the green view?

Karel V fights against Cancer

Foundation Alpe d’HuZes fights against Cancer: make cancer chronic instead of lethal within 10 years. To support this effort “our own” Martijn van Vlodorp has helped to organise the benefit dinner, which took place on the 17th of April. The total revenue of this night was € 9.760,- and goes to the foundation.
Wellness Centre

Due to unforeseen circumstances our Wellness Centre is closed from January 4th until January 10th and will have limited facilities available to you between January 10th and March 7th 2010. Our jetstream-pool and whirlpool will not be accessible during this period.
Roman Wing completes Karel V

It’s Monday 10 November 2008. Roman soldiers march from the Dom Square along De Limes - the boundary of the former Roman Empire - to the new wing of Grand Hotel Karel V. Where they shall welcome the first guests in true Roman style. And after making sure that the oracle also has an agreeable disposition, the Roman Wing is officially open, making the extension of Grand Hotel Karel V a fact.
Smoking ban in hotels, bars and restaurants as of 1 July 2008

A statutory smoking ban shall be enforced as of 1 July 2008 in all hotels, bars, and restaurants in the Netherlands. We have been prompted by this legislation to impose a smoking ban throughout the entire hotel.
